Energy & process plants
Hot-process pressure measurement, flow and heat totalization, and tank-level measurement for plant equipment.
Steam lines, process tanks and panel instruments each need a different measurement arrangement. Media temperature, process connections and the available input signals determine the instrument configuration.

Hot-process pressure
Pressure measurement in steam equipment
The HPT-5 measures pressure in steam and other hot-process media. The finned metal body is available in different cooling configurations, with process-connection and output selections for the measuring point. The permitted medium temperature depends on the chosen version.
HPT-5High-temperature pressure transmitter
- Cooling arrangement
- 5-fin or 10-fin configuration
- High-temperature version
- Up to 300 °C, configuration dependent

Flow and heat
Steam flow and heat totalization
The HPT-L / HPT-F is a panel instrument that calculates and totals flow and heat from external measurement signals. Configurations include flow inputs with optional pressure and temperature compensation. The HPT-F square-panel configuration includes steam applications.
HPT-L / HPT-FFlow and heat totalizer
- Inputs
- Configured external flow and compensation signals
- Communication
- RS485 or RS232; Modbus RTU version

Tank level
Level measurement with a dual-flange assembly
The HPT-18M provides a dual-flange assembly with two diaphragm faces for process-tank level measurement. The arrangement includes local digital indication and alternative output interfaces. Flange geometry and contact materials are selected for the tank and liquid.

- Supply
- 24 V DC
- Output options
- 4–20 mA including HART; 0–10 V or RS485 alternatives
