Water systems
Pressure, level and water-leak monitoring for water-distribution pipelines, storage tanks and pump rooms.
A water system has several distinct measuring points: pressure at the pipe, level inside the tank and water contact on the equipment-room floor. Each calls for a different instrument and mounting arrangement.

Pipe pressure
Water-line pressure monitoring
The HPT-6 pressure transmitter measures pressure in water-distribution pipelines. In the application shown, it connects to the pipe near the pump outlet through a threaded fitting. Available signal options include 4–20 mA and RS485, depending on the selected version.
HPT-6Pressure transmitter
- Connection
- Threaded process connection
- Signal
- 4–20 mA or RS485 version

Tank level
Storage-tank level measurement
The HPT-33 submersible level transmitter measures liquid level with a cable-connected probe placed in the tank. The probe material must be compatible with the liquid. Available versions include 4–20 mA, voltage, RS485 and switching outputs.
HPT-33Submersible level transmitter
- Installation
- Cable-suspended submersible probe
- Signal
- 4–20 mA, voltage, RS485 or switching version

Leak detection
Pump-room water-leak detection
The HPT-27P uses a sensing cable to detect water leakage around pump sumps and equipment spaces. In the application shown, the cable runs along the floor edge and the enclosure is mounted above it. NB-IoT, 4G, LoRa and LoRaWAN versions are available.

- Detection
- Water contact along the sensing cable
- Wireless
- NB-IoT, 4G, LoRa or LoRaWAN version
Configuration for your application
Pipe connection
Specify the pressure span, pipe fitting and receiving input for the HPT-6.
Tank and liquid
Provide the tank depth, liquid type and required cable length for the submersible level probe.
Leak coverage
Identify the floor area to cover with sensing cable and choose the wireless version for the available network.
